San Diego, CA—The Fleet Science Center offers exciting options, both virtual and in-person, to help keep kids active and engaged during spring break. Students in grades 1–3 can learn about science, technology, engineering, arts and math while experimenting with engineering, exploring illusions and extracting DNA with the Fleet's Spring STEAM Camps.
The Fleet's Spring STEAM Camps are offered every day from Monday, March 29, through Friday, April 2. The in-person camps take place at the Fleet and feature a full day of fun and educational, hands-on activities for kids in grades 1 through 3. The virtual camps are filled with activities that can be done using materials found at home and have challenges aimed for students in grades 2 through 4.
Registration for Spring STEAM Camps is now open. In-person camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Prices for the full week of in-person camps are $250 for members and $275 for nonmembers. Virtual camps are daily at 11 a.m. Attendees can sign up for a single day or enroll for multiple days of fun. Prices are $25 per day and $100 for the full week of virtual camps.
