Join us every third Sunday for an extra hour of fun at the Fleet!  

Every third Sunday of the month, we open an hour earlier for members only. This includes:

• Additional Gallery time from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 
• Member Exclusive Studio X time 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. 
• Special science demos in the Great Hall 

Plus, use your membership to see an exclusive 10 a.m. film in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater! 

October 19 at 10 a.m.—Into America's Wild

A non-stop ride via kayak, bike, train, hot air balloon, zipline, and more, Into America’s Wild explores some of the most beautiful but little-known landscapes of North America, from the wilds of Alaska and the lush coastline of Oregon to the ancient canyons of the Southwest and the rolling hills of the Appalachian Trail.

November 16 at 10 a.m.—Space Station

Space Station is the story of the unique partnership of 16 nations building a laboratory in outer space—a permanent facility for the study of the effects of long-duration exposure to zero gravity and the necessary first step toward the global cooperative effort needed if humans are to someday set foot on Mars.

December 21 at 10 a.m.—Everest

Make an inspirational and harrowing ascent of the world's tallest mountain–Everest–with a team of four international climbers who find hope, beauty and triumph in the wake of tragedy. Discover how Mount Everest was formed, how high altitude challenges a climber's physical and mental capabilities, and how Sherpa culture and tradition permeate the Mount Everest experience. Narrated by Liam Neeson.
