Join us on select days and holidays for an extra hour of fun at the Fleet!  

On select days, we open an hour earlier for members only. This includes:

• Additional gallery time from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 
• Member-exclusive ball pool time 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. 
• Special interactive science demos
• Member-exclusive IMAX^®documentary film at 10 a.m. in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater

October 8 at 7:30 p.m. —Member Preview Screening: Wings Over Water

Wings Over Water, narrated by Michael Keaton, follows three magnificent bird species—the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler, and the Mallard Duck—as they migrate along these epic “flyways.” With extraordinary footage brought to life on the Heikoff Giant Dome IMAX® screen, audiences can fly alongside these incredible birds and experience the wonder of one of North America’s most diverse and untouched ecosystems.

October —Volcanoes: The Fires of Creation

The story of volcanoes is the story of the planet’s creation and the story of us. Volcanoes: The Fires of Creation, lets you witness the 2018 Kilauea eruption in Hawaii; see the archaeological remains of Pompeii, devastated almost 2,000 years ago by Mount Vesuvius; visit Mount Fuji in Japan, made up of three volcanoes—Fuji on top and two others hidden beneath; and marvel at the black molten lava of Ol Doinyo Lengai in Tanzania.

Member Entry

To ensure smooth entry to both the exhibit galleries and the theater, we are introducing a simple check-in process for members.

Option 1: Add a Photo to Your Membership (Recommended)

• Stop by the ticket counter once to have your photo taken. This allows for quick, seamless entry on future visits, with no need to show your ID each time.

Option 2: Show a Photo ID with Your Membership Card

• Present a form of photo ID, along with your digital or physical membership card, at entry points throughout the building.

We appreciate your flexibility during this transition and can’t wait for you to experience this exciting next chapter.
