Looking for a tangible way to support the future of science? Many companies will match their employee's donations to the Fleet Science Center through matching gifts programs. If your employer matches gifts, your donation to organizations like the Fleet could be doubled or even tripled. Your employer-matched donation will help connect more San Diegans to the power of science and light the way for the next generation.

How to Make a Matching Gift
Many companies have programs where they will match the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply the impact of your gift to the Fleet Science Center. Companies and foundations use various procedures by which employees can request matching gifts. Conditions and criteria for matching gifts vary by employer. Some employers will also match donations made by spouses, retirees, and board members.

If you find your employer, please follow the links or download and complete the relevant forms.
If your company uses a matching gift form, please be sure to complete the entire employee portion of the form and send it to our Development Donor Relations Team at: DonorRelations@rhfleet.org
Q: What if I can't find my employer?
A: If you do not see your employer, please contact your company's personnel or human resources department to research your options.
If you think your company offers a matching gift program but isn't listed in the search tool email DonorRelations@rhfleet.org with a copy of the matching gift form or existing program guidelines and we'll work to have your company added.
Q: How else can I use Matching Gift programs?
A: You can also email us if you would like to feature the Fleet Science Center as a beneficiary for your employer’s matching gift campaign.

Q: What donation methods are eligible to be matched?
A: Any donation that fits your employers criteria is eligible for matching, including donations made through donating stock, through your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF).

Other Ways to Give in the Workplace
Support the important work of the Fleet Science Center through a workplace giving campaign — an easy and efficient way to make a tax-deductible donation. There are several ways to make an impact:
- EMPLOYEE GIVING PLATFORMS: If your employer utilizes an employee giving platform, you can select the Fleet Science Center as the beneficiary of your donations. You can find us on Benevity, YourCause, and CyberGrants. The Fleet Science Center's Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) is 95-6066250 . If your company uses another platform, or you don’t see us listed, please contact us at: DonorRelations@rhfleet.org .
- PAYROLL DEDUCTION: Some companies allow you to set up automatic, tax-deductible donations right from your paycheck. Be sure to reach out to your employer’s Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility team to ask how you can sign up for donations made through payroll deductions.
- BRING THE FLEET SCIENCE CENTER TO YOUR WORKPLACE: If your employer does not already have a workplace giving program or you would like to include the Fleet Science Center into your existing program, contact us at DonorRelations@rhfleet.org . We can help your company develop a workplace giving program through a variety of ways.
