Suds and Science

What sounds like the beginning of a bad joke is a fun community-wide event!

With Suds and Science local scientist professionals will enjoy something we all do: a good conversation at a local bar.

These events take place at different bars across San Diego County, making it easier to quench your thirst for knowledge and drinks all in one go.

If you’re a science professional, we encourage you to volunteer for these very popular events.

Accessibility Mornings

On the third Saturday of every month, we open our doors one hour before the museum opens to the public for a sensory-friendly Fleet experience.

The Fleet Science Center strives to be an inclusive place where people of all needs and abilities are welcome and respectfully accommodated daily. Science is for everyone.

Accessibility Mornings are primarily volunteer driven, with volunteers assisting with science-based demonstrations and crafts.
