The Fleet Reimagined
Welcome to the Fleet Reimagined
As the second phase of our Science Starts Here capital campaign and the first major renovation undertaken since the late 90s, this now completed project presents an exciting milestone for the Fleet that will inspire hands-on science learning for generations to come.
Renovation highlights:
- New Community Gallery Entrance - A free-to-the-public entrance gallery connecting through the current theater lobby.
- Enhanced Theater Experience - A dedicated queuing and concessions area for the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater.
- Café Expansion - A full-service kitchen, expanded menu, and dedicated ice cream stand (yes, you read that right!) at Element 8 Cafe.
- Multi-Use Gallery Space - The former entrance rotunda has been transformed into a flexible, engaging exhibition space, now home to our latest exhibit: Mindbender Mansion
- Basement Gallery Space - A brand new, never-before-seen basement gallery experience featuring ZWO's Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibit.
