Explore the solar system
Balboa’s Fleet Science Center hosts monthly astronomer-led events called ‘The Sky Tonight,’ giving a tour of the solar system. This month’s installment will be held at 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Several planets can be seen at night during the month of November. During Wednesday’s event, attendees will explore the night sky and gain new understanding that helps bring the solar system into focus.
Tickets range from $19.95-$22.95.
After the show, the San Diego Astronomy Association will offer a free telescope viewing outdoors at the Prado in Balboa Park, weather permitting.
