Born and raised in Tijuana, Baja California, Olimpia has a background in anthropology and creative education. She currently works as the program manager for A Reason to Survive (ARTS) in National City, CA. Prior to this, she served as a Gallery Educator for the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and a Program Coordinator for Barrio Logan College Institute (BLCI).

As a bicultural arts administrator, Olimpia is passionate about creating equitable access to non-traditional educational experiences and transformative learning through youth-centered pedagogy. During her free time, she enjoys making pottery, cycling and playing with her dog Mica.
