San Diego, CA—The Fleet Science Center invites visitors to “Explore Your Brain” with the opening of three new mind-boggling attractions. Featuring visually captivating illusions, brainteasers that will challenge the most experienced puzzlers and interactive experiences, the new attractions will give an up-close and hands-on look at the brain.

Opening on February 13, the Fleet’s new Illusions Gallery is filled with mystifying exhibits and shares how the brain processes information in ways that can often deceive us. In this visually captivating attraction, colors and shapes are found where there aren’t any, faces appear from the strangest places and the simplest images lead to the most surprising revelations. Inside the Illusions Gallery, visitors discover that it is not what you see, it’s how you see that truly matters.

Visitors can get a hands-on and up-close look at the human body’s most essential organ with Brain: The World Inside Your Head. Designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, this exhibition employs innovative special effects, life-like reproductions, hands-on learning activities and interactive technology to delve into the inner workings of the brain. This exhibition will be opening Saturday, February 1, 2020.

Finally, Mindbender Mansion is an eclectic place full of puzzles and brainteasers that challenge the brainpower of the entire family. Adults and children alike will enjoy exercising their minds as they try to solve the brainteasers and activities that encourage intergenerational play in this fun and unconventional exhibition.
