Wings Over Water
Across the heartland of North America, a wetland kingdom of connected rivers, lakes, and waterways has provided an oasis for wildlife since the retreat of the last ice age over 10,000 years ago. Today, these water highways are home to countless species. Alongside herds of bison in the Great Plains and salamanders in the smallest ponds, millions of frequent fliers rely on this pristine wilderness for survival.
Wings Over Water, narrated by Michael Keaton, follows three magnificent bird species—the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler, and the Mallard Duck—as they migrate along these epic “flyways.” With extraordinary footage brought to life on the Heikoff Giant Dome IMAX® screen, audiences can fly alongside these incredible birds and experience the wonder of one of North America’s most diverse and untouched ecosystems.
