Join the Non Gala Experiment

How would you like to conduct some fun and educational experiments with your friends or family, support a local nonprofit organization and be entered to win some awesome prizes, without even having to get out of your comfy clothes or leave your living room? 

This isn’t your average, boring black-tie event. Instead, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center is conducting a Non Gala Experiment—giving everyone the chance to support science without the hassle of attending a fussy event. This virtual fundraising event allows you to participate as much or as little as you want, whenever you want, from the comfort of your home.

For your donation of $10 or more, you’ll be automatically entered into the opportunity drawing for prizes. Donate over $1,000 and you’ll be listed on our website, if desired, and receive an invitation to a special Behind-the-Scenes experience. You can even support science simply by conducting an experiment—we’ll give you a shopping list and instructions so you have all that you need and know just what to do. We encourage you to share pictures and videos of your experiments with us on social media with the tag #nongala.

The Fleet Science Center provides powerful science experiences to nearly half a million visitors each year, over 100,000 of which are students. Revenue from admission only covers 46% of our operating expenses, meaning that your support and contributions are essential. Your generous donation allows us to continue exploring, creating and educating every day.
