BE WiSE Application

Applications open December 1, 2025.

Ready to dive into a world of STEM?

BE WiSE is the perfect program for female and female-identifying students who want hands-on experiences in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Learn alongside top research, industry, and academic institutions in the region while exploring real-world STEM opportunities.

How to apply:

Complete the application form
Submit a 500-word essay
Include recommendation names and contact info from three teachers or mentors
Attend the New Member Welcome Event or Sleepover

Once accepted, your journey begins with a welcome event, and you’ll continue to be invited to science workshops and events throughout high school and into college. BE WiSE members are expected to participate in at least six workshops/events per year.

We accept 120 students each year, and all accepted students are assigned a mandatory welcome event.

We’re excited to receive your application and can’t wait to welcome you to the BE WiSE community!
