The 2023 BE WiSE application is closed!

Each year, the Fleet Science Center encourages female and female identifying+ students in 7th and 8th grade to apply for this FREE program. Once accepted into the program, students will be part of BE WiSE until they graduate from high school and will have access to monthly free BE WiSE workshops throughout the whole time. 

Applications for the 2024 BE WiSE co-hort will open sometime in December 2023. Please check back regularly in December to learn more about the application period.

To submit a complete application, the following documents will be needed:

- An application form (link will be published once the applicatrion period has begun)
- A 500 word essay
- A recommendation letter from a teacher. This does not have to be a science teacher. It can be any teacher or mentor (more instructions are included in the application form)
- Applications must be able to attend ONE of two welcome events. Dates for the 2024 welcome events will be posted here once the application period starts.
