Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now out on DVD Blu-Ray. NASA is celebrating with fun Star Wars-related videos and stories.

Wired has made two-minute videos in which Brett Kennedy, a roboticist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, talks about which Star Wars robots actually have the right stuff for space travel and JPL Chief Engineer Brian Muirhead weighs in on the best way to build a Death Star and navigate through asteroids. You never know when you may need this information!

The crew of International Space Station Expedition 45 show their true fanboy colors and Astronaut Kjell Lindgren gives the behind-the-scenes details here.

Did you know? The TIE fighters are named after their "Twin Ion Engines.” NASA's got them beat. Its Dawn spacecraft uses three ion engines.

May the Force be with you!
