The Fleet Science Center brings you live virtual lessons at home with our science educators!
Our Fleet science educators developed programs to captivate, engage and keep students curious while schooling from home! Your kids will be engrossed as they explore science with hands-on activities using materials you are likely to already have at home. Whether you need virtual lessons for an entire classroom, individual student activities or curriculum support for teachers, we’ve got you covered.

Your entire class can conduct a science exploration at the same time! Your kids will be engrossed as they explore science with hands-on activities using materials you are likely to already have at home. Lessons are 60 minutes long and will be led by a member of our education team. Our STEM programs are popular with teachers and school systems across San Diego County, including the San Diego Unified School District.
Homeschool groups love our online lessons! The Fleet’s online lessons feature hands-on science activities and are designed to keep your kids engaged. The online platform is a great way to continue the social connections you've established through homeschool groups. We have options for single sessions and 5-class or 8-class series!
Our Fleet science educators developed programs to keep your kids engaged, so you don’t have to! Kids can explore an array of fields including biology, chemistry, engineering, environmental science, physics, robotics and much more through hands-on activities.
The Fleet Science Center offers workshops and resources to K-8 teachers and informal educators to enhance and support online learning. Get an interdisciplinary approach to science education and highlights the science in every school subject with the Like a Scientist workshops. Integrate reading and science in an engaging way with Picture-Book Science workshops, where we pair a book with inquiry-driven science investigations that can be easily replicated.
