The Fleet Inquiry Institute offers educator professional development workshops at the Fleet Science Center, at schools and district offices and at community events. San Diego County educators! Spend an evening at the Fleet! Tour the galleries with your colleagues, preview innovative educational programming, enjoy some snacks and maybe even win a raffle. You can explore how you can use documentaries in the Heikoff Giant Dome Theater*, our Don’t Try This at Home assembly show and our new Global Soundscape experience in your curricula.

Fleet education professionals will share ways you can use the Fleet to enhance your STEM education lesson plans.

About the Fleet Inquiry Institute

Since its inception in 2002 the Fleet Inquiry Institute has worked with over 14,000 educators in long-term, on-site and in-classroom professional development programs. We work with community partners to create and implement K-12 grade teacher professional development based on the process of science and learning science through inquiry.
