It’s getting chilly at the Fleet! Snow: Tiny Crystals, Global Impact is a new interactive experience exploring the vital role that snow plays in our global climate system. Learn about snow and water resource availability through exciting interactive exhibits:
- Peek inside the snowpack to discover how it changes over time and the animals that make it their home.
- Get an up-close look at the crystals that make up different types of storms as you walk through a snowstorm.
- Learn about climate adaptation by balancing resources and making trade-offs.
From the wonder of snowflakes to unique stories from the tundra, this exhibition allows visitors of all ages to explore how this fundamental weather phenomenon impacts our lives—no matter where we live.
