Welcome Home School Groups!

Book a virtual or in-person hands-on lesson for your home school group today! 

Lessons are 60 minutes long and will be led by a member of our education team either virtually through zoom, or in-person at the Fleet or at an educational facility of your choice! Choose from our fun and engaging topics below!  

Price

$260.00 for up to 25 students, groups with more than 25 students will require $6 per each additional student
Advance registration is required, payment due upon booking. Workshop fee includes the workshop and gallery admission for students only. Prices subject to change without notice. One adult chaperone per 10 students required.

Weather Instruments: Join us as we create tools to measure the weather that is happening in our own neighborhoods! 

Water Works: Observe the many unique properties of water through this series of fun experiments that will defy your expectations!

Density: Learn about why objects sink or float and take part in a special engineering challenge to create a "pirate ship" of your own!   

Geology Rocks: Get outside with us and examine the amazing science that is in your own backyard! This lesson "rocks" as we test the properties of different rock types. 

Plate Tectonics: Learn about the layers of the Earth and model how they move and change, creating earthquakes.
