Donation Requests

Guest Passes for Nonprofits

Guidelines:

• Your organization must be a nonprofit using the tickets for fundraising, which must be used for silent auction, door prizes, opportunity drawing, incentives, awards, etc. We are unable to donate to for-profit organizations or individuals raising money for another group.
• The number of available guest passes is limited. We limit our donations to 25 organizations per month.
• Requests are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority to San Diego County organizations, and are limited to one request per year, per organization.
• For qualifying organizations, we provide one pair of passes. Each pass is good for one theater show and a visit to our hands-on exhibit galleries valued at $49.90 total ($24.95 each) with an expiration date of one year after the event.
• We request that organizations acknowledge the Fleet Science Center in marketing materials and programs for the event. Visit our Press Images page for logos.

Instructions:

• A letter is required for all requests. It should be on the organization's letterhead and include the name and date of event; the organization's name, adress and tax identification number; and how the passes will be used (see above).
• We must receive the letter a minimum of 60 days prior to the date you need the passes.
• A self-addressed stamped envelope is also required for all requests. This will ensure that the passes go to the correct person at the correct address.
